ND-YAG LASER

Q-SWITCHED ND YAG LASER

The flash lamp emits light that is carefully controlled by a dual filter system. This ensures that only the correct wavelength of light hits the skin, and the rest of the radiation is cut off by filters. The developers of the device selected the light of exactly the wavelength to which two natural pigments of the human body react. Senile spots contain melanin, and blood vessels contain hemoglobin. When cells that contain melanin or hemoglobin are exposed to light of the correct wavelength, they heat up and disintegrate in less than one thousandth of a second.
Mechanism of action on the tattoo:
The energy of powerful, but very short-term pulses of light is absorbed by the pigment (chromophore), in which strong acoustic waves are instantly formed. As a result, the dye particles disintegrate into separate molecules. The drawing fades before our eyes: molecules are excreted through the lymphatic pathways by the body’s immune system, and the remaining pigment particles are absorbed by the cells. With each session, the amount of pigment in the skin is significantly reduced.
Only stained cells are destroyed, therefore, the integrity of healthy skin is preserved and the risk of scarring, scarring, and burns is excluded.
