BOTOX INJECTION

BOTOX IS A DRUG BASED ON PURIFIED AND WEAKENED BOTULINUM TOXIN.

Warning: if antibiotics were taken 2 weeks before the procedure (aminoglycosides, macrolides, tetracycline series, polymyxins), taking antibiotics may enhance the effect.
The effect of the procedure occurs in 5-7 days, the maximum effect in 2 weeks. Duration of drug action: on average, after the first procedure, the effect lasts for 4-6 months. After 3 – 5 sessions, the duration of the action increases.

Expression wrinkles, the occurrence of which is due to the motor activity of facial muscles (wrinkles around the eyes, around the mouth, glabellar wrinkles, forehead wrinkles

CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR THE PROCEDURE:


Inflammatory process at the site of the intended injection

Acute phase of infectious diseases, increased body temperature

Pregnancy, breastfeeding

Hypersensitivity (allergy) to the drug

High degree of myopia (more than 6 diopters if myopia is caused by relaxation of the eye muscles)

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CARE AFTER THE PROCEDURE:

After the procedure, there may be slight swelling at the injection sites and punctate hemorrhages may persist for several days. They go away on their own and do not require treatment.

Do not lie down after the procedure for 2-3 hours, you can actively work with facial expressions

During the day, you should refrain from taking medications that affect blood clotting

Refrain from drinking alcohol for a week

Do not tilt your head down for a long time during the week

It is advisable not to play sports for 2-3 days

Exclude overheating within 2 weeks: do not go to the bathhouse, sauna, do not sunbathe, do not direct hot air from a hairdryer to your face
